Rajant
Corporation is the developer of nonfixed-wireless-LAN products,
called “BreadCrumbs,” a line of portable battery-powered
units that generate virtually instantaneous ad hoc, self-forming,
wireless mobile networks that are not dependent on wired, or
fixed, access points. BreadCrumb units do not need to be physically
attached either to network infrastructure or to fixed power
sources, making them critical in locations where traditional
fixed wireless technologies are not present, are impractical
or are non-operational. Rajant is headquartered in Malvern,
Penn., and General Partners Kef Kasdin and Ralph Taylor-Smith
sit on its Board.
